Abandoned
Following a seminar on human trafficking, having no idea what it was about. I was shocked and appalled.
I decided to do a fund raising awareness evening in my home and a few weeks before this event took place I began watching a TV series on sexual trafficking in Cheltenham; a town not far from where I live.
Once again I felt my heart break. I turned off the TV, sat down at my piano and in tears began writing Abandoned as a prayer-cry to my God.
I am thankful for the numerous organisations who work night and day to rescue victims of human trafficking, who help heal their brokenness and give them the gift of hope for their future.
